About Us
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.
Our History
We are family owned and operated restaurant that has proudly served the Ann Arbor community for over 80 years. You can find pictures and articles of our rich history throughout the restaurant along with European decor and a variety of authentic steins. We also believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for so long. Feeding past and future generations traditional German dishes and new daily specials.
